To produce an annual event that fosters a sense of community, encourages LGBTQIA+ citizens to live openly, promotes fellowship with our allies, opposes discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression and provides financial and community support to LGBTQIA+ oriented non-profit organizations in the local area.

This event will be a celebration of Deaf Culture! There will be Art, Craft Show competition, a talent show, vendor booths and entertainment and workshops!
Per their contract with the RP Funding Center: “Only tasked-trained service animals are allowed inside the facility and must be properly restrained.
Parking is $8.00 and charged by the Venue.

Come out for A Celebration of Deaf Culture hosted by It’s a Deaf Thing!
There will be Art/craft Show/ competition a Talent Show, Vendor Booths, Entertainment and workshops!

It’s time to meet new friends and old friends and students!
Deaf Night Out is where we Deaf community come together and feel comfortable with ourselves and also open the hearing eyes to see that we are not different from them.
Also, help teach ASL students so they can be better with ASL.
Come out meet new people and have fun learning and using your ASL skills no matter the level.
Look, who does not enjoy spending time at the beach!? I know I do! So why not join me and many others on September 29th and check out the Arts Market!
There will be over 50 local artist on display at the Seawalk Pavilion in Jacksonville Beach, not to mention all the different food and drink spots you can visit and or try! This event is family and pet friendly!
I hope we will see some art from our Deaf community!

I also want to say you know when there is anything at the beach you have to pay for parking. you also know that parking is a hassle when there is an event at the beach so either come early and stay late or be prepared to walk to the event, or do what the locals do and ride your bike!!
Come one! Come all and celebrate The Culture of the Deaf Community!! and guess what? While you are there you will have the opportunity to see and or meet Kyle Schulze “Deaf Ninja” of American Ninja Warrior! He did his thang on the show! So proud of him!
I am looking forward to this event and you should too. You know what I always say another opportunity to meet new people, learn more about Deaf Culture and use your skill set no matter what leve you are!
There will be face painting, farm animals. wagon rides, food vendors and pony rides not to mention funnel cakes and snowcones!

Jacksonville Adult Prom is inviting you to do redo your prom and party like a “Rock Star”!
Free to attend 8 pm to close – Chris Thomas Band playing at 8!
Dress Code? ANYTHING GOES!!!! You can use this night as an excuse to get all dressed up in a beautiful dress and heels or have fun with it and wear an 80’s poofy gown, tuxedo t-shirt, baby blue tux, or a bow tie. Remember, the theme is glamour so be sure to sparkle!
Bring a Date or Go Stag! (Guys, don’t forget the wrist corsage!)

The punch will be spiked and we will be crowning the Prom King and Prom Queen.
There will be a raffle to benefit a local charity.
